Eric Altree has been a highly successful real estate professional in the Bay Area for over 20 years. His clients continually benefit from the breadth of experience and knowledge he brings to each transaction as an attorney and seasoned real estate professional.

Mr. Altree gained a strong background in commercial real estate transactions as a member of the Grubb and Ellis Company. While there, he specialized in the sale and leasing of industrial and office properties, and represented such clients as Kraft General Foods, James River Corporation, Caltrans and Lincoln Property.

To further strengthen his real estate transactional expertise, he earned his J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 1995 and became a member of the California State Bar that same year.

In 1996, Mr. Altree joined Pacific Union to specialize in the sale of high-end residential and residential investment property in San Francisco. His professionalism and market knowledge quickly earned him Pacific Union's coveted "Rookie of the Year" award as their top producing first year associate.Throughout the last 12 years, he has consistently been among Pacific Union's sales leaders and is an active member of Pacific Union's Estate and Investment Divisions. In 2006, Eric ranked 11th company wide from over 22,000 Pacific Union/GMAC sales professionals. In 2007, Eric was honored by the company as the 9th ranked sales professional nationally.

Mr. Altree is also the Managing Partner of Gateway Investors, a Real Estate Investment LLC, established to purchase, improve and manage investment property in the San Francisco Bay Area. In that capacity, he has overseen construction, dealt with all issues relating to the subdivision of parcels, the variance process, and San Francisco's highly specialized landlord-tenant laws.
 
Personal

Eric and his wife Heidi live in Mill Valley with their two children, Grace and Nico. In his spare time, Eric has always enjoyed outdoor sports, including running on Mt. Tam, skiing and surfing. He has competed in triathlons and has placed in the top 25 in San Francisco’s highly competitive Escape From Alcatraz race.
