About Me

In 1997, Jennie moved to the East Bay from San Francisco to her first “fixer,” a 1912 Arts & Crafts home in the Piedmont Avenue area of Oakland. She and her partner, a general contractor, took the property down to the studs and then put it back together. After this project, they continued to profitably “fluff & flip” (rehab, restore and sell) homes in both Oakland and Palm Springs, an expertise she now employs solely on behalf of her real estate clients.

Jennie grew up in Santa Barbara, attended Boston’s Emerson College as a theater major and graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Film Studies. After a brief stint in the film industry, Jennie found success as a project manager first in software development and then at a prestigious San Francisco interior design firm. Where project management honed her organizational, communication and negotiation skills, interior design enhanced her creative talents–all skills she now puts to excellent use for her real estate clients’ benefit.

Licensed with Pacific Union as a full-time Realtor, Jennie successfully closes an average 25 transactions per year—split fairly equally between Sellers and Buyers. Jennie is utterly dedicated to giving her clients the premier service they deserve: a thorough knowledge of the market, dedicated professionalism, total honesty and almost boundless enthusiasm. Her commitment to her clients’ interest is second to none, and in order to best represent that interest, she feels it is imperative to limit her business geographically to Berkeley, Piedmont and Oakland.

When she is not working, Jennie volunteers for a variety of community events—such as the annual AIDS/Lifecycle SF to LA bicycle ride—hikes in the East Bay hills with her three dogs, Oliver, Annie and Emma, and takes in as many movies as possible. Her current home is another fixer, a 1962 “mid-century” house in the Oakland Hills.
