Lori Smith Docherty joined Pacific Union in early 2003 with over 15 years of executive-level marketing experience. Combining business acumen with an in-depth knowledge of the San Francisco market, particularly Sea Cliff, Marina, Presidio Heights, Pacific Heights and Cow Hollow, Lori has established herself as a specialist in the purchase and sale of luxury properties.  Lori has earned Top Producer status and is member of Pacific Union’s exclusive Estates Division.
 

A native of the Bay Area, Lori happily resided in San Francisco’s Marina District for ten years until relocating in 2005 with her family to Southern Marin. Her passion for and knowledge of both San Francisco and Southern Marin make for an informed and robust search on either side of the Golden Gate Bridge.  
 

Lori has also leveraged her experience as a mother of two young children to become recognized as family home specialist. Her clients with children have found it extremely valuable when she applies her first-hand knowledge to help them find their homes, and her tips on finding the perfect family home have even appeared in San Francisco's 7X7 magazine.
 

Prior to joining Pacific Union, Lori spearheaded marketing and communications for companies as diverse as the San Jose Sharks, Visa USA, and several technology companies. She believes that each client deserves a clear return on their investment - from investment in a new home to investment in time working with a real estate professional. To that point, Lori works to provide exceptional, professional, comprehensive service from start to finish. Whatever the specific situation, Lori provides each client with highly individualized service. Her business is built on referrals and repeat clients who value her dedication, enthusiasm, professionalism and most of all delivery of exceptional results.
 

A great multi-tasker, she balances client needs with her outside interests in skiing, tennis, photography, and most of all spending time with her family. She also enjoys the fine dining and shopping San Francisco has to offer and taking advantage of pristine weather and beauty of outdoor life in Marin.  Lori is also a passionate philanthropist and has dedicated a significant amount of time to Bay Area organizations over the years, including the American Cancer Association, Flying Doctors, and the San Jose Sharks Foundation. She continues to give back to the community in which she lives and works by making a donation to a non-profit organization for every Pacific Union transaction she successfully closes.
